Rex came to us “used” in 1996. We were told he was about 3 yrs. old. After
treating the infestation of fleas, horrible teeth, flea bite dermatitis and having him neutered he was much happier. His prior
history was unknown, but it doesn’t seem as if it was very good.
Rex learned to trust us and was a wonderful,
loving, fun little man. We had to teach him how to play with toys. He loved to chase birds and thought he could
catch them as he ran through the fields with them far above him; he never stopped trying.
Rex gave us 6 years of wonderful memories.
He died suddenly May 2nd 2003 and is buried under the huge oak tree at the edge of our property.
There will
never be another Rexfurd, he imbedded himself in our hearts and is missed greatly.
