Kelly J. Schnur

Certified Dog Trainer

Hello, let me introduce myself! My name is Kelly Schnur and I am a long time dog enthusiast!  I began my k-9 adventures in 1996 when I acquired my first shetland sheepdog. Rex taught me a lot about dogs in general and how very intelligent these creatures really are.
Over the years I acquired more shelties and I am very involved in showing in the conformation ring as well as breeding and raising them; they truely are wonderful dogs!  I am fortunate to have worked for 9 years at a veterinary hospital where I gained even more k-9 knowledge and now understand how very important it is to keep our companions healthy.

With my 2nd sheltie Kaila I worked with her to earn three titles in obedience with her. Together we attained the Companion Dog (CD) title as well as the Rally Novice and Rally Advanced titles.

I acquired my certification in Dog Training through the ABC School of Dog Training in 2007.  This combined with my many years of dog knowledge will be invaluable in my quest for success in dog training. Please feel free to contact me to schedule a class or individual training session.

Your dog must be on a flea preventative and be flea free. Please bring with you to the first class proof of vaccinations,  and negative stool sample report from your veterinarian; this is required to begin class - no exceptions!
